Due to members of the Diesel Group having less time available due to family and work commitments, the locomotive fleet has been reduced to a level such that restoration and maintenance requirements match the volunteer time available. Some locomotives have been sold. Some locomotives have moved to new sites and some remain for sale. The core locomotives remain at Llangollen under the auspices of the Llangollen Diesel Group (LDG)
