Llangollen Railway runs trains for 7 ½ miles along the banks of the River Dee

from Llangollen  to Carrog through some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK.


We operate on most weekends throughout the year, and on weekdays between April and October


Phase 1 of the extension of the railway to Corwen, the next town in the Dee Valley is complete and the Railway operates to the temporary platform at Dwyrain Corwen East. The brand new station, Corwen Central is under construction 300 yards west of the present terminus.

Funding to complete this station is urgently needed, please donate what ever you can to the station funds.

I am still working on the new appearance for this website. Work is progressing on the tidying up of the existing pages. I have noted that the text is obscured on some pages and I have started to realign the text boxes to remove this.
